About Walk a Mile in Her Shoes - Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are joining the award-winning Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®: The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is a playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects, and remediations to men's sexualized violence against women. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® challenges men to walk one mile in women's red high-heeled shoes. Most men quickly realize that it's not easy walking in these shoes, but it's a light-hearted way to get the community talking about something that's otherwise difficult to talk about: domestic violence. What started with a handful of brave men has grown to hundreds of community leaders, businessmen, youth groups, fathers, and sons. Please consider supporting this important event by sponsoring or participating in the walk. Help us and take the walk against domestic.
