Telling the Other Side of Africa's story has been our passion for 16 years through music & presentations! Positively Africa was founded by Julius Sanna and Julia Sanna in 2007. They were inspired by an educational panel on telling the positive side of Africa's story. Julius put together a band and began performing in events, festivals and presenting cultural education in libraries and schools. They released their debut CD "Introducing Positively Africa" in 2011. The band ranges from a duo to a seven piece based on events and requests. Their afrobeat infused fusion sound is what sets them apart in South Florida! The band performance electrifies crowds, inspires dance and changes the atmosphere into a joyful, fun one!
